This one is bizarre to me. I could pick up the base game for $47 (digital, even cheaper physical) and the $31 season pass. That's only $78 with only the gamepass discounts, not including other sales. Why not just do that now rather than pay $109 for this bundle?

Edit: Nevermind, had no idea they had a Season 2 pass that would bring the total to $105, I'm an idiot. Lol

I'm out of the loop on this game, so the Season 2 is complete for new missions? They loved extra seasons at rebellion so I'd be a bit worried this complete edition won't stay complete!

wouldn't it make sense to make a fully complete, fixed product with all DLCs physical headspin
  • Posted on 17 August 23 at 15:08
hm so no new season or just (later) another complete "incomplete" edition? o_O

Basically wait 4 years or so, because they showed they aint scared to release x season passes and editions. Unless they pull a SE3 on you and leave 1 dlc outside the gold edition just for the hell of it

Ah thank you, I'll go an search out their blog. Always thought I might have to go back though the game for Authentic Plus when the DLC was finished.

Not sure how I feel about it, would be a good challenge but I'd if they're going to do it I'd rather it launched with the setting

I think the last DLC advertised itself as being the end of Sniper Elite 5 iirc.

...only 110, that is a steal...seriously, in general prices are outrageous and it seems a lot off people are just fine by the way it goes these days (weapon packs, skin packs, missions,etc)...it all could have been in the game at launch so these companies can not fool me...i just have to wait until prices drop to a more reasonable amount...

Finally no more dlcs lol now i can finish the 100% peacefully without worrying about further dlcs
Unpacking is a relaxing game lol but putting games like cricket in a game pass is blasphemous

Complete Editions are meant to have a better value and discount. Most are released as base price of the original game when it was released. $110 is insane. It’s basically zero discount from buying everything separate and thus means there is no incentive to buy it. Sniper elite dev has gotten more and more egregious with pricing, and made awful anticonsumer choices. Like releasing the first sniper elite that didn’t have the PPSH in the base game but made it dlc, or being forced to drop enemy weapons after spending the mag. I don’t think I’ll be supporting them anymore. Especially with the zombie army game that came out a year of two ago. It was so bad that I couldn’t believe it was the same dev, and it was overly and overtly monetized. I don’t want to support a dev that seems to cut out content people liked from previous games, as a strategy for dlc sales. It’s a disgusting practice and ruins a devs good rep, and a good rep can mean significantly increased sales. Yeah they might make more in the short term, but in the long run they’ll turn off their die hard fans.

    From your link:
Welcome to our final intel drop for Sniper Elite 5. Today marks the launch of Kraken Awakes, the final content pack for Season Pass 2.
So it's possible there will be SP3 and so on. It's what they do with Zombie army 4.

Ain’t no way it’s the last dlc, zat 4 had about 13 dlc missions. I wouldn’t be surprised if later down the line they add a authentic plus difficulty achievement.
