To this day, from time to time, I think about the 995 GS I have in Smash Hits. 1000'd each and every one of the OG GH games. But this 5 GS achievement still haunts me, i hate unobtainables.

2 and 3 remaster

I think this would be great but a remaster might be a good way to gauge interest before commiting to a full new game, the games after 3 were not as popular as it had a certain demographic who grew out of it. Plus there is clone Hero which would be hard to fight against considering how much you can do on there.

Let Guitar Hero stay dead. Support Rock Band instead.

Ultimately, I'd like a return to the orignal style as opposed to their last revival but I'm a sucker for these types of games regardless so fully ready for this if it ever actually happens.

Rocksmith makes Guitar Hero obsolete

If they make a new GH game, and they made it like GH 1-3 and Rock the 80' I would buy it day 1.

If they don’t, we still have a shit ton of guitar hero games on 360 and the instruments are still accessible!

AB may bring GH back, but imagine what kind of nightmare the "live service" philosophy will produce. This is a game basically made for microtransactions (as seen with the later titles), so I highly doubt they'd bring back the GH3/WT version of career progression/free play/track unlocks. Every screen will have some type of season pass, special offer, song pack, xp boost, etc.

As someone who has 100% all games in both the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series, I’m not sure I’d want to see another game except just for another 1000 gamerscore. Reason being that these games don’t need to be a series, but a platform, and Rock Band 4 has that covered already.

I did enjoy GH Live even though it was different, but if they do this they need to return to the five buttons and need to drop the live service aspect and go back to basics. And then they need to support it in the same vein as Rock Band, and not kill the genre again by saturating the market
