One of the multiverse worlds is on an 8 hour cycle and at least once a day automatically rewards a random skill for (usually) a single fight which your AI fighter can do trivially. If you log in once a day you should snag 2-3 skills per week (plus 20 or so Platinum boxes which can also drop them), it really isn’t that big of a deal, takes a minute or two longer than a daily log in bonus for most games but it eventually ends.
I mean maybe you just really want to complain about what a pain in the ass it was for you, in which case, fair enough, it’s the internet after all. This is just a FYI that that achievement isn’t particularly worse than any other of the grindier ones now days (other than Cat Call does crap for damage so meh that kind if sucks).
It is man, it was a terrible experience for me. I don't mind grinding infact a part of me loves it. I have done fair share of grindings nowadays doing Killer Instinct BUT I do HATE RNG stuff.
The towers timings for Random Skill are never sure and I completed more them 200 Random Ability Towers, also unlocked thousands of Gold, Diamond and Platinum boxes and still no luck. I completed Special Catwoman multiverse to unlock it and it was not fun. The way it calculates 2000 minutes played is terrible.
It took me 80+ hours for this one achievement and as I said it wasn't a pleasant experience
