75% off the PC version of DiRT 2

This week's Game for Windows DotW sees a 75% price drop on DiRT 2 (GFWL), down from $39.99 (USD) to only $9.99 for the next seven days -- or in Microsoft Points, that's 3200 800 MSP.

This deal will last until Wednesday, October 13th at 10 P.M. PT

Melding turbo-charged off-roading with extreme sports attitude, DiRT 2 takes off-road racing to a new level, with thrilling new race types, big event atmosphere, stunning locations, a new breed of off-roading heroes and feature a line-up of super-charged licensed speed machines covering seven vehicle classes.

    • Turbo-charged off-roading with extreme sports attitude: DiRT 2 has more attitude, more adrenaline and more DiRT than ever – off-roading just got cool.
    • Take it on Tour: DiRT 2 will take players on a World Tour to compete in aggressive multi-car and intense solo race events in the most diverse and challenging real-world environments.
    • Love your ride: Embark on a game-long love affair with your favourite cars. Rather than being forced through a checklist of in-game cars, DiRT2 enables players to pick their favourite rides and drive them across multiple disciplines.
    • The complete off-road online package: DiRT 2 invites players to become part of an extreme sports community, with full online multiplayer race events and community integration across multiple disciplines.

To download the game, you'll need to download the Games for Windows - LIVE client and use its Download section to purchase DiRT 2. Click here to find out more about how to download the GfW client.

I like how they make you think that you are saving loads by chopping 75% off but you can buy the game at just under £15 according to the game comparer on this site.

But still, it is better than nothing.

£15 works out to about $30 US, which means it's a 66% discount. Not quite as bold, but not shabby either.

However... that £15 isn't the cheapest, it looks like; right now the game is $9.28 on Amazon, or less than their $9.99 asking price.
    Grr. Argh.

This is cheaper than amazon.com. As of now the cheapest 3rd party seller on there after shipping is $15.08. I might take advantage of this deal but I don't really want to play the game until I build my next PC with DirectX 11.

Anyone wanna recommend this? I haven't been into driving games for a while, and I prolly won't play it much, but the price is right, how long would it take to 1000/1000?
