I hope I didn't confuse the issue. @
NoblestSteed deserves sole credit for mapping out how to play BG3 in a single playthrough. I, merely said I was interested in a single playthrough and made some comments in the walkthrough forum. I was amazed that NoblestSteed took the matter so seriously and grateful he invested a lot of time investigating it and coming up with a solution.
I wrote a single play approach for 3 of the 4 walkthroughs for
The Outer Worlds--the two Spacer's Choice editions and the Windows version of the regular game.
The XBox One base game walkthrough uses two playthroughs. After running through the game on story mode, the easiest setting, to get most of the achievements, an abbreviated speedrun is done on Supernova, the most difficult setting.
It's a perfectly good approach and I'm sure many prefer it. Apart from my personal preference for single playthroughs, I had a pragmatic reason as well. A supernova walkthrough is equally relevant if the player chooses to play on a lesser difficulty but a story difficulty WT that does not make allowances for intricacies of supernova mode will not apply to players who choose the hardest difficulty.
