I feel like I would've preferred a new set of characters though, I didn't really need any more closure on these characters and I liked the original endings. We'll see how it plays out.

Excellent, really enjoyed the first game and have liked all the spinoffs and sequels. A direct sequel to the original could be really interesting, so I'm keen for this.

I'm amused by people saying she looks different, as though they are unaware of the concept of aging. You have the exact same reaction when you haven't seen someone since they were 18 or so for many years. I actually thought they did a great job at keeping the resemblance without overdoing it in an unrealistic way given the time that has passed.

LiS Before the Storm is my favorite one by far, because of Chloe and the awesome soundtrack from Daughter perfectly matching the vibe of the game

I hate the new cartoonish style, but I hope the game's good when it comes out. I liked LiS 1 and 2, third was hot garbage, Tell me Why was extremely boring to the meta, Jusant was boring but decent looking and I'm not touching the vampire hunters game with terrible dialogues. Fingers crossed, but seems as another soulless shot at making a quick buck by a studio that proved incompetent in anything outside their comfort zone. Don't really like the plot synposis though.

Despite being blown away by the first one, I found 2, 3 & the prequel to all be underwhelming. If this one doesn't land I think I'll be totally done with this series

I don't want the same character.
The first games' two separate endings would make too big of a difference on how she would turn out in the future so I don't want to see a game that will basically ignore that.
Also think we've been through enough with her as the main character. Would prefer to learn a new character that ends up having a connection too her

But then I realized this is a alternate reality (and apparently she is supposed to be age 29, hence the somewhat older look) and a "what if" situation since chole is not in this realm (that we know of) we can only assume that chole is dead in this reality hence why we see max only caring about this new friend that is also dead lmao 🤣.

At least they didn't make her look ugly. Hope the story will be good. But I have my expectations very low.
