New Xbox Games — July 1 to 7

Most of these look like my old Sega Genesis games NOT Xbox games!

I've tagged Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders for price tracking. I enjoyed the 2016 game and will pick up the remaster if the price is right.

If none of these games interest you and you only have $5 to spend, then take a look through All 150+ non-backwards compatible Xbox 360 games on sale which are being delisted later this month. There are games about Pets, Dogs, Birds, Spiders and even Worms on that list.

For my $5 I got Tropico 3, Remember Me and Bionic Commando.

Scholar's Mate defo my type of game. First Descendant looks cool as well, but unsure if this will play well solo.

I don't think I've ever even seen gameplay of First Descendant, just highly stylized CGI trailers at every game show

They did not mention the cat ones in the games we might be looking forward to this month. Might have actually found one to tick lol.

Looks kinda like Outriders honestly.

Parkitect looks like a nice callback to the old Roller Coaster Tycoon games, which I had a blast playing the original.

The "find hidden cats" genre is growing, and I'm not terribly mad about it.

Parkitecht looks like it could best the next best thing to the original RCT. Other rollercoaster games are nice but I think they're just missing something. Hopefully this will knock it out of the park. I spent countless hours in high school and middle school making parks in RCT.

I don't mind the games personally, I own a few on Switch because I got them cheap in a sale but they are very expensive over here on Xbox for what they are. I wish they would put a few on sale here and there because other than the introductory 10% off on their first week, they don't get put on sale at all from what I've seen.

The Cherished said:To be fair, these aren't new games, they've just been porting their entire catalog to the console bit by bit, though not in order (For example, Astro Story is their 5th game while Home Run High is their 45th).
Also, the games themselves weren't really intended for consoles when they were made. These are mobile games made with the Japanese market in mind, so they were more intended to be played in bite size chunks and with the audiences focusing on the 1-2 themes that piqued their interests, not for a person to sit down trying to blitz through the entire catalog in big, long sessions.

7 months later and parkitect might get released. I will believe it when I see it in the store.
