    Wow, the reviews on the Xbox store for Tchia are a shitshow. Is that what happens with every new Gamepass game? Filled with people saying they haven't played it but are reviewing it anyway, and other random comments that aren't reviews in the slightest.

    Reading the reviews in the german store is one of my guilty pleasures. Absolutely pathetic.

    Neon White looks a bit too anime for me.

    Microsoft Store reviews in general are shit and should pretty much always be disregarded. "The Case of the Golden Idol" has a two star rating because of the achievements not working for fuck’s sake, which I honestly find incredibly pathetic. At this point people may as well just play that cookie simulator game or just play a video of an achievement pop ad nausem.

    Yes. They need to remove written reviews all together, or require a certain amount of game time. It’s not helping anyone. It’s obnoxious.

    I don't understand? Achievements not working is a valid reason to give the game a lower rating. They're part of the game.

    Received a notice at midnight that Neon White was added. Started downloading and went to bed.

    Woke up and the game was unavailable on console. I'm sure it will be back this afternoon but it was still odd.

    That's just the norm for reviews on the Xbox Store. It's completely unmoderated and doesn't even check if you've played the game. I've seen everything from Temu ads to explicit racism in the reviews. Always report it too, but never seen a report actually lead to any action.

    Plus the like/dislike system is completely abused by developers/publishers. Any actual critical review gets dislike bombed, while 5 star reviews that are just a joke or clear fake get dozens of fake likes.
