"Book of Death" Achievement is Missable

I have discovered the the "Book of Death" achievement is missable. I went through the campaign 100-percenting everything in my first playthrough, and thus was given both Book choices in the final level. If you choose the "Book of Life" option without choosing the Book of Death first, you will no longer be able to make a choice, and therefore have to replay the entire campaign in order to make the Book of Death choice.

Have you tried replaying the whole chapter?

Getting the alternate Book achievement only requires replaying the final chapter (you’re sent back to before it begins after beating the game); selecting Absolution from level select does not work (if it did no one would want to actually run Absolution). Replaying the final chapter in question isn’t any different a process from starting them during a story playthrough.

You can get both, select Start Mission from the Heaven's gate area of the hub and replay the final chapter then select the desired ending, using the Job Archive won't grant the achievement.
