Is this game ever coming out?

    I am a chess player and want a decent (or at least playable) chess game for the XBox...is this game ever coming out?

    It missed it's release date and gamefly and gamestop have both taken it down. So it probably won't be coming out any time soon, best case scenario, but I think it's dead.

    OK, thanks for the heads up. Hoepfully there will be a North American release eventually (or something similar...maybe Fritz?)

    The game does have an official site. However, if you look at the top right-hand corner of the homepage, you'll see there's a series of national flags. USA is not one of them, so that suggests to me that there won't be the NA release you're hoping for!

    Yeah I saw that before, but I thought that was for language (the English flag meaning...well...English). Anyway, I am still hoping :)

    I, too, was looking forward to this and had forgotten about it completely.

    It would be a shame if we never got it state-side.

    You guys can order it from the site, it will ship state side and it is region free (will work on a ntsc-na system)

    There was a legal wrangling with the name.

    In the US, it will now be called "Check Vs. Mate" and will be released in November, US time.

    With the release of DLC for this in the UK, any word on this being released in North America?
