Is Hunt: Showdown 1896 that easy when it comes to achievements?
Lots of players with 100% in like, 15 minutes.
It's like certainly the people that completed the original release and the achievement progress just carries over
They fail to include the time they already put in getting that 100%.

You see it with DLC estimates on TA all the time. Such as “Reach level 100” taking “0-30 minutes”, despite it being a 50 hour grind because they already put in the hours before they unlocked the achievements.
Exactly, the players who officially posted that the new completion took 0-30 min are fucking morons.

Can anyone with familiarity with the Kemco bundle recommend a "best of" from those 4 games? I've literally never heard of the series, but have been a fan of FF, Shadow Hearts, Wild Arms, etc.
They're utter rubbish. You ever seen the cheap "Outbreak" series on the Xbox store that tries to emulated classic Resident Evil? Well, Kemco is the Outbreak of Final Fantasy - and any other RPG that's decent.

You could let a monkey loose on RPGMaker 2000 and yield better results.
For another opinion, I'd disagree. I've played one or two Kemco RPGs. They are really basic classic style RPGs, nothing that will blow your mind, but the ones I played were decent enough. Not exactly the highest praise, but I wouldn't call them garbage, lol.
You liked them? I tried a few and just could not for the life of me find an ounce of enjoyment 😅
Not amazing, but sometimes you just want a basic JRPG.

FF7 has ruined me. Ruined me for life. Simple systems and mechanics. To the point (fight to level up / use magic to level up magic). Epic story. Nothing else has ever come close 😭

I keep toying with the idea of playing Blue Dragon (never played it before) but I hear it's not as hyped up as it's made to be.

Do you like the Dragon Quest series? If so you'll probably like Blue Dragon, it's a Dragon Quest game in almost every way but name. It's a solid game I thought.

I've played one I think. I think it was DQ Builders 2. I may have to give it a go. It's been a while since I found a decent simple RPG that doesn't have a million mechanics.

Thanks I meant antiqua lost...had a brain fart and typed dragon sinker instead🤣
games nowadays better have more than 1000 base gamerscore or a whole lot of replayability if they are asking any more than 3 dollars sales price

Well the Builder games are spinoff side games, they aren't like the rest of the main series at all, gameplay wise at least.

I'd try one of the Kemco games but I don't have 20 hours free this weekend & I've no intention of paying for it when I already have hundreds of unplayed games in my library 😂

Tempted by Kemco but not likely gonna play it over the weekend - too many other games to play. Plus, I do have Blue Dragon/Eternal Sonata/Lost Odyssey to complete to satisfy my RPG needs.

Will no one think of the poor waifus
But seriously Kemco rpgs are not bad for basic rpgs with decent stories and they have their humor (way more than final fantasy except maybe final fantasy 6 and that was mostly kefka) and lots of waifus...I have played asdivine hearts 1 and 2 and enjoyed their humor
Not a bad way to enjoy some turn your brain off and enjoy the story rpg goodness for the weekend

I refuse to add a completion time for the handful of things I've done that with. Destiny 2 springs to mind as does the beating super hard mode...whatever on Far Cry 5. That one I joined a buddy for the last checkpoint, beat it, and then unlocked the achievement. I have no real basis for the actual time it takes, so I refuse to add one.

got all but the last achievment in dragon sinker, I'm not super concerned with completions so I'll take it, got me a gold target medal too.
