Tanuki looks like a GOTY contender for sure. Can't for Matt Hoffman's Tanuki Summer.

    For you.
That show was amazing for me especially since I'm a fan of JRPGS. Really awesome to see japanese games on game pass and pixel remasters on xbox.
Ever on and on, I continue circling, With nothing but my hate, In a carousel of agony

Still no word on FF 7 remake? Not that I am interested in it but at this point Xbox doesn’t need it anymore

    Not great then really

You need a compilation of the various ways they (tried to) speak Japanese to have an accurate representation of the TGS showcase.

What a disaster but I wasn't expecting much out of the Xbox brand in Japan after the Tango shutdown. Even the "one last thing" was ports of games all other systems had years ago. And where are FF7R and FF16?

This is poor. Went in with expectations of FF7R. Poor announcements, poor show especially after State of Play smashed it the day before.

"Tanuki" looks real nice and I’m definitely rather interested in playing that but holy shit "Threads of Time" looks incredible. I am not someone that gets impressed by especially good graphics at all, but this was just stunning.
Game + Heaven + Hell + Non-AAA-style FPS = 100+ hours gladly leeched from my life apparently.

Yeah not much shown that is of interest to me personally. A lot of RPGs, strategy games and the like.

Misaligned expectations given the question at the end. Personally I’d say it was an alright show. Some really interesting offerings but there was a decent amount of games were I immediately zoned out when I noticed they were another [insert incredibly over saturated genre here] and a couple other spots that felt like a waste of time. Fwiw I largely just listened to it while doing some writing on my thoughts with "Lumines".
