Next thing he is gonna say is that games are too pay to win unlike the old days where people literally shoved quarters into a slot 🤦🏻😂
    Okay. That made me laugh.
I also just realized he said only 1 game of 20 games released in a week is good RIGHT after saying he was looking forward to 2 games this week. The math ain’t mathin

Back when the N64 released, I think it took well over a year to get 10 good games in total 😛
In North America, there were 10 quality N64 games by Feb 1997, 5 months after its launch. Of note, Super Mario 64 was a launch title. It was the best selling game of 1996 for all platforms and won several GOTY awards. In other words, in North America, the N64 launch was better than the launches of both the PlayStation and the Saturn in terms of game quality and quantity.

Since there was no collector's edition, I pre-ordered Dragon Age: The Veilguard Rook's Coffer Edition as a GameStop Exclusive. It includes the digital version of the Deluxe edition in addition to the Rook's Coffer collectibles BioWare sells without the game.

It's disappointing there is no season pass available or Premium Edition with future add-on content. Of course, it would please me to no end if the game featured no DLCs. But I'm not naive enough to think that BioWare will buck the trend to bolt on a lot of lame, anti-climactic add-ons to a perfectly good base game.

Is adding to wishlist the same as price tracking?

After Silent Hill, Outlast, et cetera, going back and playing the original Clock Tower; I never thought that a 16-bit game could give me the willies. I was wrong.
    The Super Famicom game?
    The one and only.

And this is me in my late thirties talking.
Great! I was 43 years old when I played it on the Super Famicom in 1995. smile

Two different ways to get similar results, but they are not the same.
He's not a man. He's the holy Half-Dead who has seen the Underverse and returned with powers you can't imagine.

Price Tracking is so nice. I love how it shows you how low the price has ever been or if it has been on sale at all.
I'm escaping to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism...SPACE!

The wishlist is a constant reminder of games on your radar. Price tracking sends you a notification when a game lowers its price or meets your target price.

Better release week then I have seen in quite a while. Quite a few games to either wishlist and/or pickup day one. I didn't know they were making a new Dragon Age came but I will pass on it since I never finished the last one. Wrong trailer posted for this week's Aero release as well.

Excited for phasmophobia for sure! I do find it weird that we are 2/3 days away and no price 🤔

Nobody take the bait of that first comment.

On topic: I’m so hype dragon age is launching on my birthday what a treat
but what bait? . we have dragon age and life is strange( which I love) the rest is rubbish. 20 games come out every week and only 1 is good. 20 years ago, 10 games came out a month and they were all good. This is the current situation we live in in the world of video games.
When the baiter becomes the baited toast

Don't really understand what the issue is, this is one week of releases. Even if your gaming taste only extends to the most mainstream titles like Dragon Age and Life is Strange, it's not like you're going to get through both of them in a few days and be bored for the rest of the week.

I can't think of any platform back in 2004 that was consistently putting out 10 mainstream blockbusters every month. Or ever.
Dreamcast would fit that description perfectly. Nearly every title was high quality, and most of the games still hold up today, or are even better than ports on modern consoles. Hell, Sega themselves were releasing Dreamcast games all the way up til 2007 or 2008. "Crows", released in 2008 by Sega, is one of the best shmups in the last 20 years.

September 1999 alone had way more than 10 "mainstream blockbusters". So there you go, a time when that happened :) Would you like some more months? I could easily go on.

Edit: Fun fact, some Dreamcast games have had DLC released the last couple years, officially making the Dreamcast the oldest console to still get DLC for some of its games, over 20 years later. 😳

Another cat game? Cats suck. They're not even good bois. Why no dog games?

I'll take LiS though, a few months down the line that is.
