So have we got to pay £59.99 or £15.00 for the DLC of 60g? I’m a bit confused

Wow, achievements for the "exclusive cat content" DLC, that's bullshit lol. laugh Guess I won't be getting the completion for this game after all.

They will back down with the achievements like they've done before (I hope). This happened last time in Before the Storm with the chapter exclusive to the Complete edition. It is lame they don't sell the cat DLC separately.

    That DLC thing though...

I love how the one time I pass up on the deluxe edition is the one time the deluxe edition content actually has achievements lol

Oh well. I’m sure they’ll make it separate DLC down the line. I’m not necessarily against buying it, I just couldn’t justify $80 upfront.

I was looking forward to DE but after the leaks I will only play it if it comes out on game pass. Edit: Even then I may not bother with it.

Also unless you can have manual saves at key points or chapter select you will have to do 4 playthroughs minimum.

This does seem a little screwy. The £59.99 deluxe edition doesn't include it (so neither does the cheapest £49.99 edition), but the only upgrade that then does include it is the ultimate upgrade for £15. Cheapest edition + ultimate upgrade is £64.99... which is then £10 cheaper than the Ultimate edition. The only thing you don't get is the two week's early access, which at this point isn't worth anything anyway.

    My maths is right, right?

Unless they give a discount if you own the deluxe version, which they might, you're just being ripped off upgrading from that.

The ultimate upgrade doesn't include the stuff from the deluxe edition, which the ultimate edition does, I guess that (plus the early access which is now pointless) makes up for the £10 difference.

    Oh yeah, I see now.

All hail Squeenix for creating an unnecessary set of editions and upgrades, as I very much doubt it was Deck Nine's idea.

So I did not watch Madame Web, but from the trailer...this is pretty much Madame Web, right?

I've only played the original, and I liked it well enough, but I'm not exactly chomping at the bit for more. Any fans of the first one feel like this is a little cash-grabby?

I quite enjoy playing these games but this release has been such a mess I'll just wait for a potential game pass addition

Am going to be waiting for a future sale on this but am really looking forward to playing it when I do.

Looks like there are 4 playthroughs, just by looking at it.

Achievements from early access are NOT unlocking in full game. What a mess this is.

I’ll say it again: Square Enix and Deck Nine are milking LiS franchise returning to Max because all the other titles failed. I’m not gonna bother with this one.

The first LiS was the only good title. The rest were mediocre at best.

Wasn't even slightly interested in this, but whoever decided on 'mandatory' day-one dlc should be shot in the head so they won't do it again.

I could be wrong, but I think that decision was made as the dlc impeded on the original 1000GS, which is against the rules that randomly change 🤷‍♂️ this dlc does not, even though it's shitty and I hope the game does poorly just for that reason, otherwise we're looking at more companies capitalizing on the idea in the future.

Not even games about cats were that much. You can buy Stray for that much can't you?

Cat games are a thing, nowadays, it seems.
