I like Disco but I'd say I'm alone in that. Also my music tastes change daily (literally) so as far as I'm concerned there is no best genre.

Anything but country or rap is tolerable for the most part. Of course there are exceptions like Lady Gaga. That woman(?) needs to burn.

Psy trance as I'm a bit of a raver

When not dancing though I mainly like Indie Rock, bands like Radiohead, Muse, Nirvana and The Libertines are my favourite

Technical Metal is better for me. Some Metal is boring.

Various sub-genres of electronic music for me. Really subjective though so I wouldn't claim them to be the best, just my favorite.

Hmm, this is a really tough one. I usually listen to stuff similar to OCremix

For me its a tie between good metal, orchestral/classical, and Jazz.

What a loaded question, almost seems to invite argument and debate, lol.

But alas, my favourite genres would be alternate rock, decent metalcore and progressive rock/metal. I also enjoy a good orchestral score, but my sources are fairly limited to film, TV and video games when it comes to that stuff.

I love music in general and find something in any genre that isn't too offensive to my ears (when I say any music genre I do mean ANY), but IDM has been a love on mine since the age of 13, so that stands out the most.

I am now right into classical at the minute mostly because I do better in games while I listen to them.

Rock in general, like any of the following types of rock: country, southern, glam, hard, soft, prog, blues, alternative, pop.

Like a bit of metal, and post-grunge too. Don't mind a bit of country either, especially Jace Everett.

The best genre is whatever each person listens to. Every genre is good in its own respect.

Personally, I prefer post-hardcore screamo.
