Why should the Xbox have all the fun?

The Xbox brand recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Players were rewarded with a free avatar prop, which is still available for download from here at this moment in time. Yesterday, further reward came in the form of a Fan Appreciation Sale, with discounts on DLC, XBLA games and more. However, Microsoft wanted to share the gesture of goodwill and has started Fan Appreciation sales for both Games for Windows LIVE and Windows Phone 7.

Although the sales are nowhere near as extensive as the Xbox sale, here is a list of the discounted content:

Assassins for 2.29 is a good deal, was £5.49 when it came out I think.

Picked up ac and full house poker. hopefully sonic comes down again lower as 3.99 is still to much

Sonic was £2.29 a month or two ago...you must've missed it, that's when I got it ;)

It was a pricing error didn't last more than a couple of hours. i just missed out on it.

The link to purchase the game on the UK website is missing - only the DLC is available. Without the time to check every region to make sure, I played it safe and only included the US price.

yea touch screen analog stick is a bit weird, works better on AC but still takes a bit of getting used to

Cool! This makes it seem like the "one day sale" on these same 3 WP games the other day was likely an early price reduction. I already bought poker on DoTW a while back and Sonic too (unless it was accidental price reduced) but I'm glad to get Assassin's Creed!

Also worth noting is that some of the achievements in poker (like reach level 50 and I think a few more) sync with Xbox. Since I finished most of the game on XBLA, achievements on my phone unlocked as soon as I booted up the game.

I have a WP but I barely use the phone lol!

Wasn't keen on sonic or ac but I've already completed poker. Wish they offered a few more games. However Tetris is on sale as well.

Yay Assassins Creed.
Up in the air on Bulletstorm and Street Fighter. Haven't played the console versions yet... or pretty much any of the GFWL stuff i have....

most people own mobile phones for making and receiving calls...
