Please read the first page before posting. Also, please do not post anything useless, like any game that is IP Locked/required VPN (Message on live that states: Not available in your location) or their prices. If that region does not have a marketplace, I will not list it in this thread or any of my post since I need a link to that marketplace.
Common questions I get PM/post in this thread about (Please do not post or PM anymore of these questions):1) If a game requires VPN, will it take my points or will it not let me download it?It will do nothing at all. It will deny you and you will keep your points.
2) How about (Insert game title)? Does it require VPN? As I do not want to read this whole thread for the answer.If I do not know, please read question #1 and its answer.
3) How do I set up VPN?This thread is not about VPN. There are hundreds of other threads from different websites that cover it. Bother them about it.
4) How do I know if it is Region Locked or IP Locked?Region Lock and
IP locked5) If a game is IP Locked in one country, is there another country that will let me download it for cheap?Yes, it is called your own country.
6) What is the difference between Region Free, Region Locked, and IP Locked?There are 7 types of xbox/regions, but I only list the main 3 (The Americas {North and South}, PAL {Europe, Russia, and Australia}, and Japanese {Japan and parts of Asia}). Knowing the regions, Region Free means it can be bought and be played on all xbox without a problem. Region Locked can mean only one or two regions can be bought and be played on. IP Locked means you can not buy it from another country other than your own.
7)What about Arcade games?Arcade games are not Games on Demand, learn to read. Arcade games are either Region Free or IP locked. Unless you live in Japan or Germany (They have more IP Locked arcade games), all Arcade games can be downloaded except for the Dead Rising arcade games from Japan and Korea and Wolfenstein 3D (Other than your main country). Those games are IP Locked, now get over it.
