Put time into these game, stop rush releasing each year for profits. This should also mean the last games servers should stay up longer? This also may be due to the huge success of nba2k12?
I'm with you on this. I think it is good that EA pulled it. If they would have released it, then they would have heard all the cries from people saying its a terrible game. Or if they fixed it everyone would cry that the game came out too late.
And I think the VP said it correctly. It is tough to make great games, especially when there is great competition from 2K sports. EA is taking an excellent approach to this. If they can make a better game next year, great for us! If they can't make a good game with 2 years in the making, then they should hang up their flag to 2K just like they did to EA on the NFL games (or were they bought out? I forgot).
Maybe this is a sign that EA is trying to turn them self around to make everyone happy. People got to admit, they make a lot of great games. If it wasn't for the server or the achievement issues, their base game are usually fun.
I agree! And I think ea does produce good games, but this is my tagline for them: "EA: Great games, greedy company". Between the servers they constantly shutdown AND the online passes they use for those temporary servers are ridiculous. Many of their games hold no value after about a year. Achievement issues. Etc. Would maybe be nice to see them turn around a bit, as they were rated at one point the worst company in the world. They got to start worrying as well with many of these other producers and developers respecting the community alot more. Valve is a huge example of this, and maybe companies like valve are setting a better example.
