Windows Phone Releases: Week of March 20th, 2013

Again, its upsetting that Microsoft has nothing up its sleeve for Windows 7/7.5/7.8 owners who have long been loyal to the platform.

Good on Nokia, Gameloft, etc, for supporting WP8. But Microsoft ought to be ashamed of how its dropped the older models (and long time users) like a sack of shit.

What this does is not fill longtime supporters of the platform with confidence that Microsoft will deliver in terms of ongoing support for WP8. We're experiencing the non-support now and it makes me question whether I'll get a WP8 phone.

I'm under contract until about July - and no, before anyone says anything, I can't escape the contract, can't afford to get a WP8 outright (thus paying for two phones), and in Australia the vast majority of phone deals are on such contracts unless you have several hundred dollars to pay upfront.

Once July rolls around I'll be in the market for a new phone - and I'll have to think harder about whether getting a WP8 is a good investment. That shouldn't be, because the platform is very good.

It just shows what happens when bad support comes into play. Shame on you Microsoft.

I assume those of you who won't pay £5.99 for a phone game don't have jobs then?

Football Manager, Starbase Orion, King of Dragon Pass are all great games on ios, all priced in that kind of area, and well worth spending proper money on.

If all you'll pay is 69p, don't complain that all you get are Angry Birds/Bejeweled clones...

Your second point in invalid because this is a website dedicated to Xbox gaming, not iOS or Android. I think I speak for more than just myself when I say I entered/posted on this thread because I'm interested in WP games and information TA posts on them, not to scout for people telling me to switch phones to get cheaper games. Why are you even on this thread trying to push them?
