Depends whether Sidhe have an exclusive license to use the All Blacks (in Jonah Lomu's Rugby Challenge). I doubt they do. Seems like Sidhe really picked the wrong year to release a Union game.

The graphics look pretty good for a sports game, thus far.
The distinctive green of the Irish side is wonderful to see in the game.

And it's cool that the company is commited enough to get the equipment right whether it be the different kinds of tapes to the scrum caps. I love little bits like that being employed by the makers of a game.

Great, Ireland vs England in the Aviva Stadium, going to be epic beating the English, once again.

They really nailed the Aviva stadium going by those shots.

339 people played the only other rugby game available on this console...

that's 1 news feed about rugby games for every 75 players on average ;)

That rugby game wasn't exactly widely available though to be fair. I don't think that you can compare the two really.

Alright, now this has gotten my interest. Now with the Irish officially in this, I might consider getting this game, especially with them getting the Aviva Stadium down to a tee. Also, you can't forget about the old Ireland/England rivalry that's already been talked about here. If the licences are any indication, this could be a pretty good game.

505 Games is definitely setting up to dwarf the other rugby title this year with all of the work they're putting into Rugby World Cup 2011.

Seriously, this is really interesting me, but 505 need to realise that releasing a 'press release' every time they confirm a license isn't the same as generating hype.

Also, while the black kit would seem to indicate New Zealand it doesn't show any clear faces, and doesn't show the emblem on the kit.

I'd much rather see a gameplay video to have an idea of how it will play first

Also, is that first picture Landsdowne Road? it says selected Stadia, not just one per team..

I simply can not believe this is going to be a successful game. The XBox 360 has already had a Rugby game done, and it bombed badly. Until a non-major sports game (such as rugby or indoor football) comes out that is successful, I will not see the point of producing them.

If they can't produce one until there is a successful game, and a game can't be successful unless it's produced... wink
