I agree they should do a reduced price and a garage sale type thing when its gonna get delisted. I need one cheevo on outrun and would of purchased it on deal of the week or the garage sale. I had it on my last console due t a family member staying with me part time and a rights exchange so he didn't have to drag his box t mine everytime. Would defo of bought it

So what happens when MS removes a game that people have bought and deleted? Some of them won't even appear on your DL/Purchase history for you to re-download. In my mind that is the same as stealing from me. If I paid for a game I expect to have access to that game for as long as the service I bought it through is available. Microsoft needs to be forced to change their business model to a model that is more customer satisfaction oriented. Instead of the Keep the Customer Locked-in model they implement now.
If a new Software company were to come along and able start giving us some innovative alternatives to Windows/XBox/Arcade/Mobile without being squashed like a bug by MS before developing a decent customer base, I think they would be in deep shit.

If you buy it then you can always redownload it from your purchase history. Even games like Gauntlet which are long gone. I just downloaded Dash of Destruction not too long ago to show a friend.
Looking to boost any MP achievements I don't have for any game I own.

Another game that has gone is Streets of Rage 2. I bought it through XBL Marketplace when it was released on there and re-downloaded it recently to play from my download history but could only play the trial version even though I bought the full game.

That's actually a common issue. Make sure the license is on your Xbox too, you may need a license transfer if you bought it from a different console (or if you sent one in for a warranty).

Streets of Rage 2 also had some weird glitch to it where I had to download the full game from the menu every time I wanted to play it. Something about the license on the thing getting messed up and I couldn't do another license transfer at the time.

Hydrophobia's published by Ms directly. It's unlikely they'd pull their own game if they own publishing rights.
Dark Energy Digital developed and published it. It's been released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The only thing Xbox Live Arcade got was an early release for it. The PS3 version is the superior one with extra levels and the original levels have either been tweaked or reworked.

The Ouya looks to be just that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ouya

The Ouya is definitely not that. One of two things will happen with it.

    1) They actually go the way they say they will, and the amount of money they charge for games will so unbelievably low that we'll just be playing mobile games on a console, and it will never get big because it won't have franchises like Call of Duty, Battlefield, God of War, Mass Effect, etc.
    2) They don't go the way they say they will, they get the big franchises, and people lose most of their interest because they wanted something different and cheaper.

Cheap / free games for a console sounds great and all, but it won't get you what you have with PS3/360/Wii.

That's because the PS3 version is a port of the PC version they released after the Xbox one got torn to shreds. There were no plans of doing ports but apparently there is more profit in making ports for the PC and PS3 than patching the 360 version which is kind of sad when you think about it. Still doesn't help the fans who bought the game on 360 and now have the old and busted version of the game compared to the actually enjoyable PS3/PC version. Apparently there's a price to early adopting to new IPs these days.
