    Yep, same here in France. I played the web version, but no achievements would unlock. The reason is because the beta is only open for US residents. We have the game worldwide, but just them have the achs in add.......
    Well acutally you can earn the achievements. All you have to do is change your "location" in your "system settings" to US on Windows 7. That is how I completed the game.
    It is not just US, as I live in the UK and I know a German who had no issues
    A German without any issues, surely not!

    Glad to see they are still working on this and not just letting it go. Also helps to have updates go out without extra downloads or other potential issues.

    These are pretty easy and fun anyway. I'm waiting for the ColecoVision version.

    Not a big fan of the Speed Mode right now. Really requires a change in your thought process and runs counter to the strategy of linking smaller words into bigger ones.

    Either Or mode sounds a bit confusing. The example for EAT and SAT makes sense, but what about for longer words? The wordament calculator can't proof every word combination to keep it from coming up. Plus these are start of word examples. The calculator can't determine whether you are using E for EAT or S for SAT. Does this mean that if you use it as E or S does it stay E or S for the rest of the game and is it random assignment if one of these combinations come uproll?

    Change your location from your country to US (from Regional and Language Options in Control Panel), then change your timezone to somewhere in the states (I used Arizona/Central).

    The changes have been place for more than a week now on the iOS version. Quite like them actually. Almost on my 1000th full game now. Such an addictive game.

    Now that's all they have to do is fix the reason why the achievements won't unlock for certain people.
