Been waiting for this. MORE MAGIC!!!!

Slightly off topic... I had the craziest winning streak online ranked this week. 24 matches in a row won. Took me from like 850 on the leaderboard to 91....

I consistently buy Duels of the Planeswalkers games and the related DLC on day one at full price. I love magic and the prices are very reasonable.

Nice, hopefully it has something a bit more long-term. I'd like something like "Win 500 matches in singleplayer and online via sealed deck play" and "Play 1000 matches in sealed". As much as the game is sometimes a glorified marketing exercise I have no plans to go back to the physical version.

The physical version was a lot more expensive in comparison. Plus, it's nice to avoid dealing with physical counters and tokens. The table often looked like a disaster area during tournament matches.

Even though I love the game (also play it IRL), winning 500 matches online is a really no go. 90% of the time people who are about to lose, quit and are replaced by an IA.

When I know I'm done, I just don't block or use any spell to prolong the game. From my own experience I can say that I'm a minority.

    That's a shame.

I'm always up for playing more Magic. One of the few games I play consistently simply for the enjoyment.

Just in case you didn't know, leaderboards wise, it is automatically considered a win whenever the other person leaves the game, even if you quit out or lose against the AI

If your opponent leaves the match, you win. The option from pause menu reads "concede duel" for a reason. wink That being said, I feel like once someone concedes, the match should end and award the other player a win instantly.

I've conceded matches if I feel the game is already decided. Otherwise, you may end up dealing with the player who goes out of their way to drag the match on. If I have two health and no blockers, and they have 3 attackers with a combined power of 15, they don't really need to play spells to draw cards or activate abilities to play more lands.

I couldn't be more excited that new decks are coming soon. The original decks can be fun, but they seem mostly geared to help those new to the game (Avacyn's Glory and Deadwalkers being prime examples).

    Sword of the Samurai???

Please tell me they put in a Ninjutsu mechanic deck

I already knew this was coming in due to the Theros block and the promotional part of the menu kind of gave that away but still I am always ready to play more Magic! I'm building a deck for my own use at the moment for M14, I can't wait to finish it.

I look forward to playing with these decks they look interesting, I still need to get Deck Packs 1 and 2 for M13 yet but I'll get round to them hopefully. I look forward to playing more THG and Free For All with my girlfriend and friends with these decks. [:

From the pictures, it doesn't look like it. Ninjutsu was only on blue or black creatures and the five decks that they seem to be adding are:
    Black Demons
    White/Blue/Green (Bant) Exalted
    White/Red Samurai
    Blue/Red (Izzet) "Dodge and Burn"
    Green Elves

Keep in mind, in real life, conceding a game when you are losing is considered normal. It's just how the game handles it that's bad.

That's how it used to be! (first DotP)
But they changed that because of the possibility of leaderboard boosting.
And that's bullshit. I don't care about the leaderboards, i want smooth online gameplay.
If the opponent quits out right at the start because of a bad draw, i usually quit out too.
I don't wanna waste my time.
