Not necessarily. Solitaire (and possibly Mahjong / I assume Minesweeper) has been there since the first version of Windows 8, but never had the LIVE part available.
I guess they are now enabled on all versions reading the above post.

Still depends on the specific game being enabled or not. I'm fairly certain that Fruit Ninja is available, but not Live Enabled yet
I miss the good old days of WW2 Call of Duty

Question is how many of those games will be available on Windows RT. I was planning to get a Surface at launch, but looking at Win8 Marketplace right now most of the games only support x86 and x64 plataforms, not RT (ARM). Even the Microsoft Solitaire, Mahjong and Minesweeper collections are not ARM compatible.

So the prices will be set for each game on the 26th too yes?

Also got games for tablets and things but still no games for IPhone's linked to Xbox Live yet, Not all that happy, i've had an iphone for so long and still nothing Xbox related yet. Hopefully it's only a matter of time.

iPhone will never connect to Xbox LIVE. Ever. Apple will never let that happen. That'd be like letting our Xbox 360s connect to PSN.

I'm connected to the internet on Windows 8 Preview Version 32bit but when I try to access the Windows Game Marketplace it just says error and can't connect.. It does sign me in to my LIVE account as I can view my friends and achievement etc. But when I click a tile, for instance the solitaire tile to install it doesn't give me the option to purchase or any details whatsoever. Any ideas? Or is it just temporarily down?
    Sky is over.

The preview version (to my knowledge) does not have access to the LIVE games and service, beyond what you have. I believe you need to have the early release version that was release for developers and TechNet paid subscribers.

I already own some of these games on my Win7 Phone (Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Gravity Guy, iStunt2, Shuffle Party, Wordament, Zombiez!!!). My concerns are:
    1. Will I have to repurchase the games for Win8 Phone?
    2. Will I keep my achievements and progress?
    3. If I purchase a game, say, on my Win8 Phone, will I be able to play it only on my phone, or can I play it on a Surface for free (with all my progress/achievements)?
Need the "Professor Portal" and "Friends List with Benefits" achievements from Portal 2 for completion. Please PM me if you can help.

    however

    1. No
    2. No
    3. Yes if you're talking about windows 8 games, providing they support ARM
