This is the stupidest post I've ever read. I'm not saying anything about you personally, but this is just stupid. Now I'll tell you why.1. Xbox 360 came out November 22nd, 2005. Crackdown came out Febuary 20th, 2007. That is not what "launch title" means...ugh. 2. Microsoft did not start this to compete with PS Plus...they did as a thank you to the members who have purchased Xbox Gold...it's a thank you as well as a send off to the old system. This has nothing, I repeat NOTHING to do with PlayStation. Someone either lied to you outright, or you made that up right now, because I searched it and it's not even a theory. We watched them announce this live at E3, we know exactly why there are doing this, they do not need to compete with PS, who makes 1/5 of the sales for every game that's released on both consoles. 3. It's not "PSN PlUS", it's just PlayStation Plus. 4. Microsoft only can choose games that are in their Marketplace. They announced, again at E3, that to choose these titles they were going to pick the most popular games that they have available. The games that have stood the test of time, that continue to get downloaded six years later and that they think people will enjoy. You, the other online gamers and myself are the reasons they are choosing these games to put online, and there is no other reason...they just hope that if you like the game you'll purchase some DLC or an avatar item, but if you don't then you don't! It's up to you. Your post sir is the only thing "embarrassing" about this whole situation. I'm super glad you have the time to get angry about pretend reasons.I can see where you are coming from, but it isn't really a 'thank you'. Businesses don't give away free things. It is a business decision. Either way, it sort of is an answer to PS Plus for the time being. I'm sure they are looking heavily into the ststistics and using this as a test for next-gen and future ideas. It doesn't mean they are 'copycats', it is just competition. I think the games this month are pretty good as well. Obviously, I'd like to see this expanded upon and made better. Too bad this "thank you" doesn't extend to those loyal members who don't CURRENTLY have Xbox Live Gold. Yup, definitely not a business decision. It's a thank you, from the bottom of Microsoft's wallet....I mean heart..........fart (I just did....).
