Weirdly enough this many months after shutdown and all that unusable DLC is still on the marketplace with no warning about servers being shutdown.

I know it's old news but I don't understand why they shut down servers on popular shooting and racing games but they keep old sports games around for 2 years or more sometimes (especially all the Madden games). It's pretty disappointing. I wish Microsoft would do something to prevent developers from making Achievements that can not be obtained.

Considering Microsoft has done it themselves with 1vs100, I doubt they will ever try to enforce something like that. In the companies mindset (and some gamers) if you wanted the achievements, you should have bought the game when it released and played it then and not 3+ years later.

It sucks, I have 3 games currently on my card that have unobtainables. All of them are of course online achievements and the game had its servers shut down. And in 1 of those cases its not like I didn't try to get the online achievements but I just wasn't as good as some of the other online players who dominated the leaderboards so no one else could ever get in the top slots.

In the scenario presented Microsoft have put leaderboard achievement as a no-go however having online achievements lost all the time (Some companies have to shutdown) its painful to play a game with MP.

I think was meant to bold the part that says online gameplay and forgot the bit at the back of box that says EA can shutdown servers without prior notice.

I think Army of Two's notice actually required a 30 day notice. Very few of their games actually say without prior notice.

Yea but they did give 30 days so I don't get why that guy was posting what he posted anyway lol

I don't think the post had anything to do at all with giving notice. I think he was showing that their description still advertises online (and possibly that they advertise co-op, he may not know couch co-op is available) even though it's not available.
