Samething happened to me when I tried to buy the game from Xbox.com via the link instead of the 360 dashboard. I have access to the spring deal from there, I select DR: Case West, then Continue and a few seconds later, the message comes up about the wrong location/region. From Xbox.com by following the link posted here, I keep getting this messsage: Your purchase cannot be completed. Please try again.

Btw, I forgot to mention too, I live in Canada and my account was Canadian before but I used the account migration tool by Microsoft (released 1-2 months ago) to move my account to the USA region. So now my account is US and I even changed it to US in the console settings too. I wanted to grab some rare avatar stuffs from the dashboard ads that's why I changed the region ;)

i cannot grab DR: Case West, I have the exact amount of points buy when I click to purchase it, i keep getting invalid location or region error. Is this sale US only or worldwide? I live in Canada.
I live in Holland and I'm getting the sale right on my desktop startup screen, so I'd say it's worldwide. Is your account Canadian too? (I just ask because before the option to relocalise, my account was American thanks to a hotmail glitch)

I don't know about the other deals because I already have them/don't care of them, but it seems the Capcom restricted their deals to some regions only because both Dead Rising games are only available to some regions only. And it seems that USA is not one of them because as I said before, I did an account migration this year from Canada to USA and the deal is not available for my region/location which means, USA is not part of the deal. Correct me if I am wrong.

Tempting to get Case West, but I think I'll get Just Cause 2 instead, I know that will be a great game.

Aww, I just found out about this, and I only had enough to buy chapter 2 of the walking dead ( and chapter 1 for free obviously)
I wanted Dead Rising, or maybe more TWD chapters :(

So what's the special sale today; or was that an April Fool's joke?

It's on the desktop now - It's Fallout 3 DLC (I already got the GOTY edition), the AC3 season pass, The Dishonored Dunwall City Trials DLC, Spiderman GoD, and the Battlefield 3 Aftermath DLC

There's nothing bad about the AC3 Season Pass and Dishonored DLC. Fallout's been done but that shouldn't take away from the others.
Gamers have only two hobbies: playing games, and complaining about those games.

Plus the Fallout DLC is a pretty hefty sale... five DLC for 200 a piece instead of 800...

Can't say I would touch AC3 season pass with the state the main game is in. Even Fallout 3 didn't have me falling through the map as often as ACIII has had caused me to do. Dunwall trials seems like a $1 pre order bonus unless it does more than trial you on the game mechanics.

I just realised that while I have the Fallout 3 GOTY edition, my Fallout New Vegas disc is the normal edition. Why couldn't the New Vegas DLC have been on sale too?
