    Bowling for me!
Turns out, actually playing a game you want to finish helps you complete it...

should be easy, unless they get tricky with bowling.

Maybe someone can clear up my confusion on these "gems."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read on other forums that these "gems" are actually all available in Kinect Sports Season 2 DLC.

At any rate, if they indeed are, would it be feasible for me to purchase these "gems" separately?

Maybe put into consideration I'm frugal and don't want to pay for something twice. :-)

Are these part of the Kinect Sports or Ultimate Kinect Sports bundle, or are they purachsed and counted separately? And do these also count for Kinect PlayFit?

If separate, I'll try to wait for a sale, but a few of thse are pretty cool and all are easy completions.
I am what I am, and that's all that I am, an XBLA completion addict.

Keep seeing these questions come up.

The Kinect Gems are completely separate from the retail Kinect Sports games. They are not DLC for either Kinect Sports, nor do they count for Playfit. As far as I know, individually purchasing is the only way to obtain them as of now. One could always await a sale as well. They're essentially a mini game based on existing Kinect Sports mini games (from both games) with their own leveling system and achievements.

    I can't wait for these.
If they came to hear me beg, they will be disappointed.

I see. Thank you for taking the time to straighten out the confusion for me.

I have heard and gotten confirmation from several that these games do count towards Kinect Playfit, they just aren't officially listed. I'm unaware if they just count your calories, or if they will help unlock other achievements. Thought I would share that with you.

Maybe if I ever get a Kinect and they go on sale...
