XBLA Wednesday: November 2nd, 2011

I prefer this but it would be nice to post "rumour-mill" stuff earlier so that we can hope for game releases etc.

Put the info up ASAP with a disclaimer. All you're doing is reporting the info you've been given and if that's been given in error then it's not your fault. If it's not up ASAP we'll just get our info from 360a. :P

just played the trial, gameplay is still as fun as when I was a young young kid, too bad the game looks and SOUNDS the same as well...

Did they put in any kind of "retro mode" where you can play a 2-d version like the original?

Personally, I prefer seeing the info earlier, but there have been so many last minute changes on MS's end lately that if this works better for you guys, it's fine.
I'm tentatively psyched about this title--a couple weeks ago we were at a bar that had an old Burgertime arcade console, and it was a blast--hopefully this will live up.

i really dont mind weather news is early or not as long as we get up to date :)

I don't mind the updates at all. Monday is fine as it helps the hype and the anticipation, as well as preparations. ;)

So if worry is us, then I'd say it's unwarranted, by the looks of it.

If it's work for you guys then maybe compromise and do it on Tuesday instead. One less day to worry about updating but still gives us a day's head start. :)

I would prefer to know as early as possible. Some changes here and there are no problem.

Given that I played Burgertime Deluxe to death on the Game Boy and thoroughly enjoyed it, I may have to pick this up too. Not fully decided yet though.

I'm not honestly fussed when you guys put this news up, and given the inconsistencies its easy to understand why you'd want to go down this route now. In the end for me at least if I want to purchase an XBLA title, it'll usually be about this time anyways. In my case, its nice to wake up on a Thursday morning (like right this moment) to find out what's cookin' on XBLA via you kiddies, although by the looks of things I might be alone in that regard.

Next-gen gaming is finally here.

I say do both, a 'possibles' news post on Monday and then an 'actual' on Wednesday.
