Also might be worth getting the German version of skate 2 if you like that series and have a PAL console. No need for gold as it's not dotw smile
Seriously? I think this might be the best idea yet but is it confirmed that it is indeed the GER version of the game.

Skate 2 for me... mainly because I'm terrible on my board in real life...
I have a fifth sense. It's like I have ESPN or something.

Most likely Citadel DLC and Contrast for me this week.

I would recommend Mirror's Edge at that price without hesitation. For those who like puzzle games and/or Japanese dating sims, the sale price on Catherine is pretty good.

    Skate 2

    Skate 2 (DE)

Just make a German account and buy some eu points online, easy. Only will work on a PAL console though

Payday is tomorrow. But I only have 14GB left on my 360 HD. All of the excellent digital deals from the last few months have eaten up that space very quickly.

Maybe if they included Omega DLC also. Till then, I'm still bitching.
You must've missed it. I got all the DLC on sale now. dance
Yep, same. Very happy to finally have it all, picked up Mirror's Edge as well. And for those that don't have KoA I would recommend it to any RPG fan, it's better than the demo let's on and it's an above average game with tons of content. Will keep you busy for many hours.

If anyone with KoA is having trouble with the game crashing or freezing often (like every half hour or hour) turn off the autosave function and see if that helps. I was having that issue and after spending some time reading through various threads on the internet this is the one that solved the problem for me.

Overall, nice sale this week MS and now back to another ME3 playthrough if I ever get done with Borderlands 2. That game has turned into a life sucking slog.

I just picked up Alice: Madness Returns, plus I was able to get American McGee's Alice for free.
I'm glad I waited on this one.

That was a wierd one, it was discounted late and returned to normal price 4 days later, and yet it is still listed as part of the EA sale. I expect somebody didn't talk to somebody and it was done manually and done badly.

I've been away for 9 days so I wasn't able to bring you news of the other deals that have been running this past week.

Assassin's Creed III Avatar items $0.99
    Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag
    - Multi-player Gameplay Pack $24.99 $14.99
    - Multi-player Appearance Pack $24.99 $14.99

And for those not in the US, here is a working link for Catherine (EU)

    Catherine - 70% discount - Now - US$9.89 / £9.89 / €13.19 / AU$19.78

There have also been a larger number than usual of other price drops:
DJ Hero 2 Ultra Mix Pack, Test Drive Unlimited 2 Casino Online, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Killer Is Dead, Hot Wheels Worlds Best Driver, Metro: Last Light, Zumba Fitness Core, Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi, Dead Island Riptide, Borderlands 2, BioShock Infinite, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Grand Theft Auto is this weeks DotW.

Grand Theft Auto IV $19.99 $9.99
    - The Ballad of Gay Tony $19.99 $7.99
    - The Lost and Damned $9.99 $4.99
    Grand Theft Auto V $59.99 $40.19

    Taken from HolyHalfDead's Blog

Now before anyone starts moaning about exchange rates, GTA V has been reduced from $119.95NZD to $80.36NZD in New Zealand, which is still a 33% discount, even though $80.36NZD = $64.77USD (which is more than the non-discounted US price). It has always been this way on XBL, since GoD weren't priced using MSP. Why games cost more outside of the US is another discussion, for example people from the US keep posting that games only cost about $5 in stores and "GameFly" and so GoD are a rip off. So this pricing difference is not unique to the international pricing of GoD.

And before some smart arse says "it is the taxes" one more time, my understanding is that US Sales Tax vary by state from 4% to 12%. The difference between $40.19 for GTA V in the US and $64.77 in New Zealand is 65%. That is more than just "taxes". It also isn't shipping or staffing costs because this is a virtual product sold out of the US. It is simple Economics, Supply and Demand. If the physical games in New Zealand shops sell for $119.95NZD, then why would Microsoft impact those sales by reducing it to $50NZD online? It's not like I can just order it in New Zealand from "GameFly" instead. Supply and Demand my friend, Supply and Demand.

Another example, Killer is Dead is $29.99USD and $109.95NZD ($88.55USD).

And it's not just GoD anymore. The Assassins Creed IV Season Pass is $19.99USD (1600MSP) and yet it cost $37.95NZD ($30.60USD) in New Zealand, that is over 50% more, so it ain't just bloody taxes.

It's why I was a supporter of MSP, because the world got XBLA and DLC content at a price set in the US. Sure it was cheaper to buy MSP in some countries than it was in others, but it certainly wasn't 50% more expensive. So new XBLA and DLC is now getting regional pricing (it was even restrospectively applied by some publishers who increased the prices of already released content when MSP was discountinued).

Even tho the sale was meant to only go to the 2nd (so the Xbox site mentions) I was still able to pick up games and it's the 4th already.
