See, why cant more companies that delist crap be more like this! Good job boys! Make your final sales before delisting a game!

Nice gesture but why cant microsoft just update the price for all regions in one click?

    Year 1998?

Regardless of whether you want the game or not, the fact they told us before hand, while also giving us a sale on the content, is a step in the right direction, and sets a good example for other companies to follow.
Couldn't agree more...this is what I wish would happen with every game that gets de-listed. They have a good chance of making a few sales as well...

Way to go! Even if this seems very hard to complete i will buy it anyway just to show my support for companies who announce a delisting and also offer a price drop for the game. I hope other companies will follow this example.

Sure the announcement is classy, and immensely appreciated but economically I never understood why more companies don't do this. The game will no doubt see sales well above normal and profit the company that much more as opposed to just delisting it and having people (among whom would eventually have bought it) keep it on their "to buy when I get my backlog down" list ultimately being unable to buy it. Announcemens like this force a reorganizing of the wish list and is just better for everyone involved. Doesn't seem so complicated to me.

And I guess for the decrease in price, but again classy, with the right coverage (as is here) and word of mouth it'll create even more sales -- especially from those people whose willingness to buy doesn't hit $10 but I'm on the verge of ranting so suffice to say this was both a classy move that is also extremely business savvy

Well at least they informed us rather than have it disappear without a trace, wish this would happen more often.

I certainly appreciate the heads up on the delisting and the sale to along with the delisting - I hope that this is the new trend.
    The new dashboard sux!

From how they worded it it seems like they're delisting because the license expired.

not interested in this game at all but its nice they gave a warning, they should always do this! (honestly do they not realise they will get more sold if they did that?)

Very classy move announcing it in advance and offering a discount. I already have it, but definitely support this business model and decision before a title gets removed from the marketplace. It's like liquidating digital inventory (which I know does not exist) rather than keeping it all to themselves. toast

Still showing as $9.99 here in the USA, but as soon as the price drops I'll be picking this up. I remember when it was first announced I was going to get it, but at $10 it was just a bit too steep. Forgot about it until now.

While not the classic BurgerTime, once the price drops to $4.99 I'll snap this up. Achievements seem to be pretty easy to get too, with only 1 fully requiring online by winning 1 multiplayer match. Anyone wanna boost it in the next 2 weeks?

I'll pick this up once the price drop hits my area. I'd be up for boosting for the online achievement(s).

This probably will be delisted before the price drop hits the norweigan marketplace. So frustrating!

And no price drop on the danish either. So annoying.

When will the price be reduced for Norway? It's stupid how this isn't updated at the same time worldwide...
