Windows Phone 7 Release: August 15, 2012

I hope that they didnt killed DotW for WP7 like they did for PC :/

This game looks so horrible... but seems like it would actually be so good.

Well almost everyone I know has been having problems with achievements unlocking on the phone but not showing up on Xbox.com...does anyone have the power to reach the proper authorities to fix this? Can't even play Wp7 anymore!

I guess we should get this game before they raise it to $4.99, right? I'm sad about the apparent loss of deal of the week.

It would be very bad for the loss of Deal of the Week. I have seen my use of the Windows Phone dramatically drop over the past few weeks since I don't have that anticipation of getting a deal.

Freemium games (Contract Killer, Gun Bros., and Bug Village) should die. Luckily I never got an achievement on any of them before seeing that in order to play them correctly it would cost much much much more than any Windows Phone game ever made.

Achievements not unlocking properly is a widespread issue right now on Windows Phone. :(

I've had this happen in 2 separate games now, and the fix was to delete and start over. Oddly enough though, I had achievements just suddenly sync to my profile after replaying BulletAsylum twice and missing 2 achievements, so you can always hope that'll happen?

Did the WP7 achievement issue happen recently? I haven't had issues with my achievements popping up on xbox.com but I haven't gotten any achievements in a couple weeks on my WP

Anyways, I am actually interested in this game. I don't seem to have a platformer on my phone...except for some free one that doesn't have achievements.

It just started happening last Wednesday (8/8)

WP7 is pretty much dead to me now as a gaming platform (and otherwise). I bought into it in a big way October 2010 when it came out, but it hasn't delivered in the way we were promised.

Now they're just churning out ports of throwaway iOS games inter spliced with horrible freemium stuff. What happened to decent original ideas like Tentacles, Z0mb1ES and The Harvest?

I can't wait to switch back to the iPhone.
