Anyone recommend Prototype? I enjoyed the second one and it was an easy completion. But the first game looks like a pain in the ass to complete. I don't normally care if I can complete a game or not but I'd really like to have them both in my trophy case.

Anyone have any recommendations on this? The first game is much harder than the original, usually in a frustrating way. There's many more enemies that are a threat through the entire game, and they like to throw a lot of them in at once, especially by late game. Rocket launchers are comparatively more difficult to counter, the shield is nowhere near as effective, and you don't get a dedicated dodge button, so prepare to get hit a lot. Devastators use HP, so unlike storing mass, you can only use them if you're doing amazing or about to die. Prototype 2 nailed the gameplay, so the original is going to feel dated and awkward.

Story, the game does it better. Mercer won't look familiar in the slightest based on Prototype 2, there's more going on than a simple revenge plot, and the Web of Intrigue plots things out better for you in breadcrumb style.

In short, the gameplay's more punishing than 2 but the story is better. If that's worth $5, then yes.

As for the sales, Vigilante 8 looks appealing, but the reviews that say it feels like a downgrade is disappointing and discouraging.
Thanks for the information. Considering I have a small backlog of other games already, I guess I will skip it if it will just be annoying to complete and more trouble than it is probably worth.

    Some other titles on sale:
The Missing Link in Deus Ex: Human Revolution - 60% off
Aliens: Colonial Marines - 50% off
Resonance of Fate - 20% off
Sonic Free Riders - 20% off
    Sonic Generations - 33% off
These are more likely to be permanent price drops as they aren't being advertised as a sale anywhere that I can find. Unless you can see a listing somewhere?

I wouldn't mind Nascar the Inside Line but I doubt you will be able to buy it in the UK marketplace cry

I got it on release day and it is still one of the best digital games on xbox one.

If you are a fan of RPG's and you dont have this yet... what are you waiting for?
So much this. I paid full price for it and I don't regret it one bit. Fantastic game. Get it now.
100% agree. Excellent value even at full price.

I've heard from many friends that the Prototypes are very disappointing.

Been waiting for Fall of Cybertron though, War for Cybertron was thoroughly awesome! smile
If that's that then this has got to be this

Child of Light, a fantastic game, and LocoCycle, a not-so-fantastic game, are both VERY easy completions if that's a turning point for anyone.
You exist because we allow it, and you will end because we demand it.

It was either high jumping, infinite ammo for all players, no reload.... That's all the game is now, doesn't matter what mode you play.

The only thing that seemed dodgy was when someone called in the dogs right at the start of the game. At the time I thought that was a perk or something.

CoD 4, a seven year old game, for 22,50 euro? Even taking into account CoD's never-ending popularity that is pushing it to say the least.
