Prey 2 Officially Cancelled

Hopefully we see a game from the prey universe sometime in the future.

Sucks...I liked Prey and was looking forward to it. Especially since I got a slip advertising Prey 2 in my Skyrim CE....oh well...better than being a Duke Nukem Forever!

I enjoyed the first prey and the way prey 2 was going I wanted but now I will have to wait just like I did for doom 4 and the new wolfenstein

Hopefully this means we will get Fallout 4 sooner

Damn, I liked this game and was looking forward to another one. I saw the trailer a long time ago and was pumped up for it.

The game had some awesome elements...The magnet paths & spirit walking. It wasn't bad, but I'm glad I picked it up on sale for only a few bucks. Prey 2 would have suffered the same fate. Lurking in the back of my mind waiting for a killer sale.

About the article, they could give us the first prey on GwG. Just a suggestion.

This is actually the first real good reason to skip the One completely to get Prey 2 on the next console. I won´t run out of games until 2022 - One or not.

What was the best western shooter on the One? I forget that all the time...

This is a shame, but in my opinion this particular development should not have carried the title Prey 2. Maybe Prey: Bounty Hunter at a push

This sucks, but after so long I'm pretty sure everyone saw this coming.

I really enjoyed the first one as well. Sad that the story will not continue. The ending left you begging for more in my opinion. I loved the single player. Although the Multiplayer felt crappy and tacked on.... Glad those could be knocked out in a day with minimum grinding.

Had to say that we all saw it coming though.. Never should have taken this long.

Prey was one of those D-list games nobody heard of, but it made use of some interesting mechanics like portals that were later ripped off wholesale by other developers who built a much better game around it. I don't think the gaming world is missing much with this cancellation.
