Kenya Sprint Rally gets a workout

Codemasters have released a new trailer showing off gameplay footage from their upcoming and highly anticipated title, DiRT 3.

Who's the man behind the wheel (so to speak)? None other than 2009 IRC rally champion Kris Meeke. Kris is driving in style in front of a pretty slick looking three screen set up, using a gaming steering wheel, a manual H-pattern gearstick, and a clutch too! This is Kris' first attempt at the Kenya Sprint Rally.

Yeah not bad, nearly went off the track at the end though.

As announced last month, DiRT 3 is set for global release on May 24th, 2011.

THAT WAS SWEET is that that wheel out now for the xbox and does it work for most racing games if so so cool and not gonna lie that was a pretty good run.

That wheel appears to be a Logitech G25/27, so he's probably playing that on a PS3/PC. Won't work on an Xbox :(

I've seen more of these videos from Codemasters. Yes, the seat is a force-feedback chair bumping around with the car's movements.

*Three* screens, a force-feedback chair, and a realistic gearshift...wish I could afford a set-up like that! As it is, the game itself would take a big enough bite out of my budget.

dirt 2 was a good game. apart from "Mr Pastrana, Mr Block" and crew always saying really annoying things. god it irritated me so much! but apart from that good game!! will probs buy this, but not a first week purchase for me (probably not even first month for that matter). looks awesome though!
