So, if you already own one version, there's no way to get the other for free?

Picked up the WP version in June when it was on sale and didn't have W8 at the time, so I looked at the W8 version and it shows $1.99.

WP should have GwG.
I nominate this as the first title.

Are you using the same Microsoft account ? Try going to the "Store" app on Windows 8.1 and sync licenses (Under settings)

Bought it, and now to add it to my backlog for W8 and WP8. Gotta stop buying new games lol.

That is not always the case. Sometimes I have to click buy multiple times before the store page remembers that I have already purchased it. This on Windows Phone 7&8

Is there any guide out there for the best way to play through all 3 at once?

I've owned them all for ages but never started them.

I tried purchasing it on my WP8.1 since I already own it on Win8. No joy. Still coming up with $2.49. I'm synced and am using the same account. :/

FWIW, since I upgraded from WP7, I have had to re-download all the games, it USUALLY showed the price until I clicked "buy" and it verified this account already owned the game and it installed without charge. This instance it did not work.

If you bought the game and uninstalled it, it should show up as "owned" in your shop; bought and still installed should show "installed".

Since it glitches on levels and I'm already part way through the story on Win8, I'll pass.
