Bottom of app screen cut off

This app on my Windows 10 laptop opens in a window, however the bottom of the window is black, not showing the menu items at all, and only the top 4/5 of the screen or so.

It appears to be something having to do with portrait vs landscrape orientation? Is this app just built to be used with a win8 tablet that can be rotated to portrait?

This app is general is a completely buggy mess. I was hoping playing it on Windows desktop would allow me to finally obtain the one bugged achievement i'm still missing from the WP8 app, but not much luck making it even work properly on my laptop at this point.

I am having the same problem on my tablet. I cannot close anything or even see the right side of the screen.

Do achievements earned on WP auto unlock?

I just downloaded the game for window 10 today and the screen is also cut off at the bottom for me as well cant see any of the investment or other buttons.

Here to report the same problem. I'm worried this game isn't popular enough to warrant a fix. If anyone messing with their settings finds a solution, please let me know

If anyone messing with their settings finds a solution, please let me knowI figured out that if you just download the app on your phone (I have android) and sync your data to the cloud through linking your game to facebook that the sync data will also appear on the windows 10 version as well and this does cause the achievements to unlock. You have to somewhat play the game on your phone but once you get to a decent amount of money you can just switch over to windows 10 and do the autohotkey script macro to collect the money and then switch back to your phone to make investments etc.

Same issue for me. I have 200/200 on the WP version. I never did have Win 8 but have Win 10 now.. installed this game and only the window to flick money is there. Bottom and side where buttons should be are just a black screen. It popped up saying I got a bucket to make money while offline and there wasn't even anything to do to close that.. hopefully it's updated, seems broken o Win 10.

Restart it in tablet mode from your pc all should work fine then!

For those who don't know, you can do this to run tablet mode:

Click or tap the Start button
Open the Settings application
Click or tap on "System"
In the pane on the left of the screen scroll all the way to the bottom until you see "Tablet Mode"
Ensure the toggle is set to either on or off to your preference.

That's really strange. I have no idea why it wouldn't work if we're all running the same version of Win 10 and the game itself.

I closed the game, switched to tablet mode, started it up and it was fine. I had trouble doing anything with the Xbox app in tablet mode but was able to play the game and get 200/200. All those buttons and the bucket were there just fine.

Not sure. I wonder if I uninstall it, re-install it, set to tablet mode, and then open it for the first time if that would work....

What worked for me was putting it into tablet mode and then changing the screen orientation to portrait in the display setting.

You'll have to contend with the changed perspective but at least you can access the other menus in-game.

Its' just a bit difficult to control the mouse.Glad it worked for you! It's a pain to control the mouse but it's better than waiting for Microsoft/Game Troopers to get off their asses and patch the game to work properly.
