For those that want this and don't have an android phone, you can download the official android emulator here: http://developer.android.com/tools/help/emulator.html, and then download wordament and play it on the PC with the official emulator. It is completely legal to do this. You do need a google play account though. If you have a youtube account, you can use that.

Alternately, you can use the 'Youwave Home' android emulator here: http://youwave.com/ . With it's free ten day trial, download the google play marketplace app, and then download wordament through the google play marketplace app, then play it.

I recommend the youwave emulator over the complicated official android SDK emulator.

    Hope this helps!

    Saw this yesterday.
Would be great if I could get my android tablet to work. Freezes constantly and its only 2 months old. There's a reason you should stay away from android stuff.

Anybody know if a Mac compatible emulator?

And please don't reply with your inferiority complex acting up because of "#PCSUPERIORRACE". That doesn't help.

Yes, you can use VirtualBox with a pre-made virtual machine from AndroVM. Make sure to pick one which says "with gapps," so you have access to the Google Play Store. I used this image. FYI on the filenames: t = tablet, p = phone, tp = both.

This solution will also work for Windows or Linux. As TSG Dwaggie mentions above, you'll need a Google account to use the Google Play Store.

I completed the game on my Mac. Some of the achievements (eg Sore Fingers, Sweet 16) didn't unlock as soon as they should have, but after a few attempts they eventually did.

@Kyuubi - no, you have to get it on the device the achievement list is for.

Makes me glad I have a WP, my sister has an iPhone, my wife has a kindle fire and we have a laptop! Nice easy achievements. Just have to try and get the kindle off the missus to complete it! Also just need to get a wp8 and a windows 8 device for the completions!

Hey; can you please walk us (or at least me) through how to use the developer's emulator on Windows 8? I'm not really sure what I'm doing and suspect that I'm not the only one.
