I downloaded castle of illusions last night for the full £9.99. how annoying
    Seriously ??

its just the wrong time of the year to pay full price for anything, and you should just keep the credit card in your pocket for anything that's not 50 % or more off, and in this Christmas sale. $ 0.99 arcade games ?? Looks like its time to delete more installed disk games...

For famous, good games with a lot of dlc it is better to wait for an GOTY/ULTIMATE/COMPLETE etc. edition of the game with all the dlc included (or at the very least, all the dlc with achievements). In your case, Tomb Raider will have such an edition next year with all the dlc included for the xbox 360 (and under a different name for the xbox one).
Yea, that is the dream, something about Mass Effect, though, the DLC has never been released as a bundle yet, even for the first game's GH edition was not complete. I finally got ME 2's online pass for free when EA went all Care Bear on their Online Pass recently, but the DLC have not been discounted again, after the last piece came out (arrival), nor is there a GOTY for it cry

Only on PS3 is there a complete package with absolutely every piece of DLC.

I just saw the GOTY edition of The Walking Dead for $44 at a local shop, so methinks $6.72 for all 5 episodes from XBL is a steal and I guess I should finally get around to buying it. smile

I'm hoping for a Banjo-Kazooie / -Tooie sale here. And how the f*ck is Bioshock Infinite $14 - €21 fair in any way? If anything it's the other way around - €14 is about $20. What a joke...

P.S. I'm with the others on Mass Effect 1/2/3 DLC. There's one in 2 and a couple in 3 I haven't bought yet, I will marathon the games again once I get those and not for the achievements (I'll do another quick marathon for those someday, on the insane difficulty or whatever it was called in these games)
I believe in a better world, where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.

    My sale wish list?

    - XBLA: State of Decay
    - XBLA: Vandal Hearts
    - XBLA: Game room games, C'mon Microsoft, reduce the sucker!!

    - Black Ops 1 DLC (I got 3 on sale, but was too poor to purchase one more LOL)
    - Transformers + DLC (Missed out on that massive sale....poooo)
    - WWE series + DLC and Season passes. (Boo to season pass, but there you go...)
    - Star Wars DLC

    - Avatar Gear (Yep, I'm one of those yuppies that likes to decorate the useless bugger)

If just one of those pop up, I'd be a happy chappy.

Hopefully there'll be some decent things in the daily sales. Nothing so far interests me (TWD is a great price though for anyone who hasn't yet played it!), but I've got a list of everything I'm hoping for!
    I like what I like and I don't what I don't.

Whoever decides the prices in the uk region needs slapping. Bioshock infinite for £17 which is like $30 when it is $12 in the US? It should be around £7.50. Pfffff.

    ^ All of this

I can't for the life of me figure out why Game Room games are (and were) not at $0.99 each, for the full dual version. Its just the right price for these ancient arcade and atari 2600 games, and I would actually be interested in several at that level, but I could not pay $3-$5 each for these, with full, current XBLA games selling at a similar price, unless I was in a TA points contest (ratios are INSANE for Game Room). It will probably never happen though, its just too old a game, and the pricing model was always whack.

I'm absolutely certain MSFT let an intern do the price conversion, and he swapped the ratios. Its completely back @ss-wards, and makes no sense at all, unless they reversed the conversion ratio, and then it makes perfect sense. It would not be the first time (or even the fifth time) that MSFT fumbled the regional pricing on their digital games, they really need some kind of logic code to double check this stuff before it goes live.

The conversion question between regions is not specific to Microsoft, nor to digital games. I remember I paid my PS2 about 400 euros back in 2001, while the US release price was 300$. For the PS3 20Gb, 499$ = 499€. So I guess things are getting better actually laugh.

Yes I enjoy it very much so I definitely recommend it especially if you enjoyed Shatered Dimensions and if you didn't play that I would get it too lol

On another note they would mark the Value Pack for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 down to $4.49 a few days after I paid the full price of $19.99 for it since the game is being delisted soon :(

There was once a time when $1 US = €1.20 - specifically spring 2001. Euro didn't overtake the mrkn dollar til shortly after 9/11...

I loved Shattered Dimensions, so I'm tempted to get Edge of Time. Maybe X-Men: Destiny as well, or is it as bad as people say it is?

Tough to say no to games for 99 cents. Might get UMvC3 and Rise of the Guardians and maybe even one of the spiderman games.

Xmen Destiny isnt bad.. not broken or too short or too long. its just not that good. very easy completion and for the most part entertaining. Not GOTY but not the flaming shit pile that is Dark or Darkest of Days
