Petition to bring GH Tunes servers back

I recently posted on the ?Activision Assist facebook page and asked them if/when they could put the GH Tunes servers back online for GH Smash Hits. They replied that they were not aware of this issue. They said that they would escalate if they receive more reports. If everyone could post on their facebook page, then maybe they will bring the servers back! Here's the link to their page:

Got this reply when asking regarding the disappeared DLC and GHTunes Server for Smash Hits:

Apologies for the late response guys! Unfortunately the GH servers for the classic games have been taken offline, and DLC for Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, and Band Hero is no longer available. Apologies, but as stated - you will be able to re-download any purchased songs or DLC from the retailer's in-game store. ^NM

So yea, they don't seem to fix it anytime soon...

From what I understand, the DLC was taken away due to licensing constraints, which is totally fine with me. I think we need to get them to understand that we are solely interested in the GHTunes servers for this achievement. I'd like to understand why some of the servers are up and others are down. Specifically GHWT vs Smash Hits, since Smash Hits came out later.

If we could get support from TA as a community, we may have a chance.

Are the servers back on? I have not yet bought the game for this reason, but according to TA the last person to earn the achievement was on July 22nd 2014. So only 8 days ago. Here is the link showing their game stats GainfulRafael's achievements in Guitar Hero: Smash Hits

A quick answer to the Tunes Servers, NO, they are not up, nor will they ever be back up. Activision and Red Octane (if it exists anymore) stopped supporting the GH franchise is 2013, about the same time Rock Band DLC was discontinued.

Activision is focusing on the future games, and current popular games, like Call of Duty. They are also supporting Next-Gen consoles (Xbox One, PS4, Wii U) more than current gen (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii).

Surprised that the multiplayer online playing servers are still up, but for how long, is anyone's guess. So if you need the achievements for GH Tunes, downloading a song, you can't get it.

Why are all the servers online except for smash hits that's what i wonder..

And what if we would post to their facebook page every day ? they can't keep ignoring us can they?

Yeah, I just really don’t think it’ll be a possibly with how strange the servers work for ALL GH games online. I wonder if the developers have any say on if the server would come back up....

Someone let me know if by some miracle the servers come back on or if someone finds a work around.

Can DJ Hero 2, also published by Activision, be added? May be too much scope creep but would certainly be nice to have all the Activision music/rhythm game stuff obtainable again.
