Posted on 17 March 14 at 18:57, Edited on 04 June 15 at 23:50 by Purple DinDonoHi there, I have some issues unlocking the achievements "War Hero" and "Hardened War Hero" in CoD: World at War. I've finished every mission on Veteran difficulty and both achievements aren't unlocking, I also have every other achievement in the game (except the ones in Multiplayer). I've been making some researches about that problem and no-one can provide a clear solution but I am not the only one to who these issues are happening. I've been trying to delete my cache and the game saves, but still the same problem, the last 2 mission are shown as "not completed". I completed those about 5 times each in every difficulty. Recently, the 3 last missions are now shown as "not completed" and today, the 5 last missions are now show as "not completed". I have also been trying to complete the whole campaign in hardened without any break: not succesful. Please, help me resolving this problem.
Posted on 02 May 14 at 12:58Hi, same problem there ! As far as I understand we are fucked up. This is a glitch occuring when you start playing zombies DLC during your solo campaign run.
Posted on 12 May 14 at 17:30Yeah, I saw lots of guys had the same problem. But I didn't play any DLC during the campaign or at any point because I don't have any DLCs. Sounds great yeah !
Posted on 13 May 14 at 11:35Hi, I have found this http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57005...and thishttp://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30943...IMO it deserves a try !
Posted on 13 May 14 at 18:30Yeah, definitely ! If you try this before me, please keep me informed.Good luck !
Posted on 06 July 14 at 16:04This was worth a try, I followed their tuts but they don't work with WaW because WaW won't let you save your game progress if no profile is connected on the xbox :(
Posted on 31 July 14 at 16:07Okay, I've been trying another option: I deleted my profile from my hard-drive then I downloaded it and tried to complete the whole campaign on Hardened: it didn't work.I think we are definitely fucked because this error must be in our profiles and can't be deleted ...
Posted on 02 August 14 at 12:17, Edited on 02 August 14 at 12:23 by FeaRoFDerbiOnly solution would be to delete the game progress that is inside our profile (not the normal gamesave), and to do that, I think the only way would be to put the profile on a USB to hack it on a PC, that sucks :/I wish Microsoft would let us delete that easilyEDIT : Nevermind, doing so would result in losing our achievements imoWe're screwed, thank you Treyarch
Posted on 02 August 14 at 12:33Anyway I added this thread to my browser's favorites, hoping that one day someone will rise up and save us all, haha
Posted on 02 August 14 at 14:18I've just been on the Microsoft's support and the guy wasn't able to resolve the problem because, in my opinion, he couldn't access the saves which are located on my xbox profile.I definitely don't see how this problem could be resolved as we cannot access these "corrupted" saves.
Posted on 02 August 14 at 14:32Following this! Playing through solo story now... Have played dlc while doing the story. Could talke som time tho before finishing the game, had to restart eviction level
Posted on 02 August 14 at 15:22I send the thread to Activision Support, hoping they'll do something about the glitch !http://gyazo.com/fe5cc6176d420fd53a6a23cc6608bf32
Posted on 03 August 14 at 10:51I found someone that had the same glitch that us occur on his xbox, he got past it, I sent him a message, I hope he has the solution ! I'll keep you guys updated on his response ;)

However, I tried the second solution several times and it doesn't work.
