Mega Man rocks man!
There is no worse feeling than that during an argument, you realize you are wrong.

You're getting more games with that version though, so it's not that bad smile.

More than anything I'm just glad that Capcom are giving the blue bomber some love.

While those two collections span 14 main series games + 2 arcade fighters and racing game I would pay a good amount of money if Capcom stuck everything in one mega collection and sold it at full retail or beyond.

Could you imagine it;
10 Mega man
9 Mega man X
2 Mega man legends + 1 prequel
5 Gameboy Mega man
4 Mega man Zero
Mega man + Bass
and many more

Hnghhhh

Interesting how this is releasing just before Mighty Number 9 does in September.

I'd take a Mega Man 1-10 compilation, with parts 7-8 being 'de-made' to match the graphics of the rest of series.

Having this, along with 9 and 10 through backwards compatibility on the same machine will be very nice.

Oh man, as someone who played MMX Collection on GC you are in for a rough time. That controller is terrible for MMX Games. Better get used to playing claw style.

I've not played through the MMX collection yet, just the standard MM one, I take it the analog stick is trash for them?

The problem is the layout of the GC contoller's buttons. If you were like me, on the SNES you had 'Y' held down, tapped 'B' to jump, and used 'A' to dash, basically putting your thumb across the 'Y' and 'A' buttons. This is impossible to do on a standard GC controller, so most people end up using a 'claw' which for me was thumb on 'B' pointer finger on 'Y' and Ring finger on 'A'. Very uncomfortable to do, but you pretty much had to for any SNES games using a GC controller

Nope, I got the clever pun. I was responding to the facepalm, although I do agree with Dimmock in that I'd happily pay $60 for a full Mega Man/X/etc collection.

I had just played through the Zero games on GBA before playing X Collection, so I was already used to dashing with L. Not perfect, but way better than using the claw grip :)

This interview is kind of useless, they have nothing to say except "here is 6 games you already know" and "we release this for MegaMan fans around the world to show that here at Capcom we still love this little blue bomber" (which in fact means "shiet we must release this just before Mighty N°9 !")
