Robots Of Duty!?

Still dont like the setting... Stopped plaing Cod after Black Ops 2!

Sure people will like this one and have some fun but i will pass again i think...

Yes i preffer the "older" setting like WW2, Vietnam or even they could finally make a setting in WW1!

Why!? Well... All those things really happened! Its authentic...

I enjoy the older settings too although after seeing the jetpack in this, it doesn't look like it will drastically change movements like exo suits. Ghosts was terrible for a number of reasons (health being a big one) and I didn't enjoy AW's movement but this one looks slightly more promising. Not gonna hold my breath though.

I enjoy all the CoD campaigns. Multiplayer holds no interest for me. I just wish they would go back to basics with it. Absolutely hate the perk and killstreak systems

I kinda agree i'll still play it at some point few months after release when price drops, but I don't play them to death like I used too.
I much prefer ww2 settings, and there's so much more that could be done,
Commando raids on French ports etc
The French resistance
Battle of the bulge
Anzio beach landings, Italian campaign, Monte casino etc.
Stalingrad from both sides
The birth of the SAS in north Africa
Operation market garden
The chindits
That's just off the top of my head and I agree how about WW1 western/ eastern front how about the Dardanelles campaign and have been waiting on a decent Vietnam game for ages, a Vietnam game has loads of possibilities
Or if they want to go in a totally new direction how about something to do with the Napoleonic wars...I personally would love that.

Anyway I like a basis of historical fact in my war games but maybe that's just me I might be a bit of a dinosaur, historical campaigns, battles, regiments, weapons etc etc

I live in hope

As long as it doesn't have zombies with dumb easter eggs and garbage like that I'll get it.

I want a WAR GAME... like a vietnam or korean war call of duty or even an hd remake of the original shellshock for the ps2. something dark/gritty/gibby/gory and really captures the effects of war on the soldiers and the bravery of those men who fought in them. for fuck sakes I'm tired of the same old bullshit with future stuff if I wanted a good future fps I'd play titanfall... which i do and it's pretty damn good.

The closest I have seen to capturing real war would be Brother's in Arms and MoH Warfighter (More so the effects at home then the combat part).

Don't ever expect CoD to produce quality along those lines they stopped after CoD2 and became another linear shooter franchise.

You guys realise there's Enemy Front. And with Backwards Compatibility coming you'll get your WWII fix on Xbox One soon

People want current gen games on their Xbox one's not previous gen.

I agree with the general consensus, bring out an old school style shooter, wall running and boost jumping has been done in Titanfall (reallly well I might add) and there are already numerous zombie games.

The COD franchise is definitely over for me.

(I would make exceptions for Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood as-well as Rising Sun and Frontlines from MoH)

This proves that nobody is ever happy. It wasn't but a few years ago when everyone was complaining about how stale "modern" and "WW2 era" war games were and how tired they were of "brown and gray shooters". These games are a direct response for people complaining about how tiresome the same old war games were.

Just crazy to see it go back, full circle. I'm pretty excited for Black Ops III as they're easily the best Call of Duty games since MW2, and I really want to see what Zombie mode has in store.

CoD is no more interesting for me. After hardcore playing World At War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2 I'm over with it with all this futuristic fights/guns/movements... I swear that I really thought that they will reveal World At War 2. Guess no.

Futuristic settings don't bother me but I'm not a type of person who likes jet packs in multiplayer based games. Especially in those that are face paced, like call of duty.

The last call of duty I enjoyed campaign wise was blackops that jungle fighting was cool and i like the little twists in it. best zombies was WaW though when it was more survival and not luck. But it's call of duty it's about soldiers not zombies... they threw that in because zombies had a fad and just about everything coming out had some type of infection/zombie thing in it. I'd like to make choices in the game which affect the ending too. and I did play spec ops and it was okay it just seemed a bit rushed.

4 player co-op on veteran difficulty sounds like a challenge.
