Every single Lego game is based off an official licensed set.

If there is not a Lego set in stores, it will not get a game. Period.

This is a fun fantasy list, but will never, ever, ever be close to being a reality.
Was there an official Rock Band set?
Not to mention the fact that Lego is not bound by some strange code that says they must make an official, physical set before making a game.

That said, at least half of these suggestions have a lot of violence. Not happening.
There's not a hard and fast rule for it, obviously, but LEGO wants the games to increase interest in their physical sets (and vice versa). Hence why seeing what they have a physical set for is a good bet towards determining what may or may not be down the line.

Nicktoons ftw. I buy the series to all my old favourite cartoons so a lego game would be cool.

LOST was a genuine waste of my time. I binged the entire series in about a month a year after the series finished, I only came to the conclusion that it was a waste of my time by the last few episodes of the series. So much build up for nothing.

LEGO X-Files would be pretty awesome though, the series many tongue-in-cheek moments that I think will do pretty well as a LEGO game.

You mentioning the X-Files makes me want a "Men In Black Lego Game"

"Admittedly, some flashbacks wouldn't make good gameplay sequences. Jack's alcoholism or Sawyer's grifting don't exactly embody the term "family friendly", but hey, neither do zombie headshots or naked Schwarzeneggers."

That simply makes all of them terrible ideas, not justify the any of them.

As someone else mentioned, franchises like "The Hunger Games". When "The Maze Runner" and "Insurgent" series finish, maybe them as tell.

We shouldn't try to shoehorn adult material that is essential to the plot in - adults may play these games but their key demographic is still kids.

It is still up in the air if Disney will continue to cooperate. My perception is that they will for "normal" games but draw the line at cannibalising their "toys to life" Infinity franchise. But even if they did, then I would be happy with Lego Shrek or even Lego Madagascar.

The best Lego game ever made is actually a Wii U exclusive. Probably funded by Nintendo as its still not ported to any Xbox.

    "Lego City Undercover"

Its a huge open world/GTA style with tons of vehicles, missions, secrets, unlocks, easter eggs, insane amount of characters and whatever.

Lego Lost? Yeah I'd buy that. Wonder if they would add in Lego Heroin for Charlie, just a little brown stud or something. Includes a Lego Jin minifigure.

When it comes to LOST, there are those that didn't realise that it took place in a dream that Vincent had before the flight, and those that did. The ones that didn't are usually the ones that hate it :D
