Question - if you play a game on backwards compatibility, do you get 2 sets of acheievements and score?

I.e. I've already completed a game on the 360, got all the acheievements, and end play again on the 1, then I double up?

No. It's not a new version of the game, you're playing the same game, with the same list, same saves, it's no different than playing on a different 360

How many years will it be before we can disable controller vibration in ALL games on this POS console without tearing the controller apart and disabling it physically? Cause I'm damn well considering that route. What the hell is wrong with you guy just go to the in game menu and turn it off for each game... It takes fucking five seconds for Christ sakesThere are plenty of games that don't have that option. Add to that the fact that if you have a wired controller connected with an active USB extension cable (at least in my case) it will turn off the controller when it vibrates, and it would be really nice to be able to turn it off at your profile level like you could on the 360.

More than that, there's too much redundant nagging that should have the option of being handled at profile level. What is all this BS setting screen borders/safe area/brightness on every goddamn game? If I want to do that, I'd game on PC. WTF? Then half the games you boot up ask you to choose a profile. I'm already signed in, and this is the only profile on the box. Why is everything being counter-intuitive and adding extra steps!?
100% Onyx MAX on Halo: Reach 6/19/2012: 230+ DAYS playtime, 69+ million credits. 1.4 million FF kills.

I did the TV calibration thing on the Xbox One and I feel like that should've been enough for all my games to present properly - I shouldn't have to adjust a safe area and brightness on every game I play after that. >> One standard set-up when you get an Xbox (with an option to change brightness if you want to in-game) should be enough, not a mandatory set up with every FPS I start.

It's a shame that the Missing Link is missing, in the backwards compatibility

Another console setting we should have is determining how long the XB1 controller takes to shut itself off or IF it shuts off at all. I still want to know why the hell the XB1 controllers take so much longer to turn on and connect than 360 controllers. I hadn't used a wireless 360 controller for ages and just started again when the mic jack on a wired one quit working. WTF? It shuts off while I'm talking, I press the button, and I'm instantly back in the chat. The XB1 controller takes forever to become responsive when you turn it back on.

That was a problem at release, but connect time was noticeably improved some time ago. It's rare I have to wait more than 2 seconds after pressing the home button for power that my One control is fully responsive. The 360 on the other hand has never taken less than 5.

I'm still using an original controller with only the BS proprietary mic jack too. btw, I was looking at the BC list. I'm curious if anyone has tried to use the Doom 3 disc to play Doom 1 & 2 or any of the other backward compatible games that were released on disc. I wouldn't be surprised if they screwed that up too.

If anybody is still looking to get the Peggle multiplayer achievements, let me know. I'm trying to get the Rock Lobster achievement and even after the backwards compatibility addition there is nobody searching for matches.
