One of the few truly scary games around. Loved it! Loved the Second one! Then 3 came out... and they bubble gummed it up so it wouldn't be as scary as the first two... which made me sad. It was worth the play through so that I could wrap the story up.

One of the very few games that nearly gave me "brown trouser syndrome".
They don't/no longer make them like they used to.

It would be cool if the BC list would have a date for each game when they became available..

Dead Space is the game I used to get to 50,000 Gamerscore, which I was told I would never reach. Absolutely love that game.

Dead Space 2 was pretty good, Dead Space 3 (aka Isaac Clark the Shiny Spaceman Vs the Highschool Years and some Necromorphs.) was kinda meh, but non of them beats the original not by a long shot.

i'm really appreciating this B.C. stuff as it gives me a fresh incentive to go back to older games that are half done as i played them before i was into achievements.

Now we need a current-gen version that goes back to the roots of what Dead Space 1 was about, the survival/ horror game.

Not to be too much of a pedant - wait, that's a lie - but didn't Microsoft state that all future 360 GwG titles would be backwards compatible? Since Dead Space IS one of those titles... well, you get the idea.

Given that Blops keeps getting it's date change, I think it is for the best. Would be nice to know if a game is going BC before they release it though, saw RDR was released then withdrawn no idea if they are releasing it now.

I'm almost wondering if most of the games that are going BC now were being held back by publishers because they wanted to wait for the Xbox One BC store to officially launch.
