Oops. Forget to post my results. While I didn't do anything too creative, I did manage to earn a SA rating -- was perfect on each one despite one or two going pear-shaped.

Of course, Gary Busey avoided the fiber wire -- for now...

Good news for disc owners.

There was an AMA with a couple of the devs and the community manager. Redeeming the Legacy Pack naturally came up, and they mentioned a blog post should go up in the coming days explaining everything.

However, they did reveal that for console users, you will need to start up Hitman (2016) and download the Legacy Pack from there. (I guess they'll update the game to add this option.) I'm also assuming digital owners should have the contents appear in their "ready to install" list, but I guess we'll know later this week.

They posted the official instructions on redeeming the Legacy Pack. I've laid out the short version below.

Digital Owners: The Legacy content should appear in your "ready-to-install" for Hitman 2.
Disc Owners: You need the base game for Hitman (2016) and all episodes installed. Then, access the in-game store from the main menu and download the Legacy Pack.

Also, the Legacy Pack adds an extra 1000 GS to Hitman 2. All of the Legacy achievements are exactly the same as Hitman (2016).

Really?! I might have to go grab my Hitman 2 copy sooner rather than later!

With any luck, maybe Black Friday might have some early discounts.

I'm noticing different editions. Standard probably seems to be the way to go.

BTW, the in-game link for the Legacy Pack won't be active until Hitman 2 is unlocked. No preloading for the Legacy Pack, it seems.

Yeah, basically the Gold Edition just gives you early access and a pre-order of the future expansions. Silver Edition exists to make the Gold version look better. Standard's just fine.

So legacy owners get a new briefcase decorated with travel stickers from season 1 locations, a black winter suit and a coin which varies on your S1 Elusive Target performance.

The game is amazing!

Whaaat?! That is amazing! My birthday is on the 18th, so I'm definitely asking for this, lol. A rarity since I haven't gotten a brand new game since... Halo 3?

Just a heads-up for owners of the complete, definitive, or GOTY editions of Hitman (2016):

You already own The Legacy Pack for Hitman 2. And the launcher for Hitman 2 is free for all. This means you can replay the first season of Hitman inside of Hitman 2 at no extra cost (and for a 1000 GS stack).

The reason I bring this up is due to the re-release of certain Elusive Targets from Hitman (2016)... but only in Hitman 2. These "Legacy" targets are available to you, and can be tracked in the successor thread to this one.
