I think that game is very difficult. The ratio is deceptively low.
It's not difficult with an arcade stick. Although I don't think Nin2-Jump was ever in the arcades, most Cave games were developed for the arcades and use standard arcade stick and buttons. Nin2-Jump does not require precision so any 360 arcade stick will do. However, this is a real steal:
http://tinyurl.com/Razer-Atrox-360This is normally a $200 stick that is selling on Amazon for $80. It uses genuine arcade Sanwa parts--stick and buttons. It is also designed to be easily modded by the user. For example, I use arcade sticks predominantly for shooters so I have replaced the Sanwa stick (an exceptional fighting games stick) with a Seimitsu LS-32-01-SC Joystick ($20) which is a great stick for shoot 'em ups particularly bullet hell games. However, platformers generally do equally well with both Sanwa and Seimitsu sticks.
The only downside is that this only works with the 360. If you want something that works with the 360, the X1, and a Windows PC; you should consider something like:
http://tinyurl.com/Hori-360-X1You're paying quite a bit more but it will last forever with punishing use and you'll have the ideal stick for all 360 & X1 arcade control platformers, fighting games, and arcade control shoot 'em ups.
