I can never tell if these are serious anymore or not...
I'm not talking about World At War or South Park Stick of Truth, I'm talking about games like Aqua Naval Warfare, Foul Play, Word Puzzle, Skullgirls, and Joe Danger Special Edition, those games are quite obscure and no one really cares about them.
I want to see more really popular and in-demand games getting into BCP, like the
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, the CoD Modern Warfare series, literally
ANY of the 007 titles,
either of the Ace Combat games on 360, or at least some more Tom Clancy titles, such as
HAWX 1 & 2, Splinter Cell Double Agent, or even
EndWar. In the instance of EndWar, maybe it would give UbiSoft some incentive to turn the Theatre of War server back on so those of us who missed out on some of the ToW achievements can return and unlock them.
I'm just really sick of so many obscure titles getting the nod into the BC Program, there's SO many better titles waiting to get emulated on X1 right now.
Quite an ironic statement. The bolded games are definitely not "really popular".
You act like Microsoft is choosing which games to add to the list. That might be true for their own games, but definitely not for third parties. Indie games are just easier to make compatible due to simple graphics and missing complexity, while those "popular" games need much more testing.
