    Love this, great work Dave!

Looking at that chart it's a pretty awesome time to be a gamer right now. It's an amazing collection of games across a decent spread of genres.

Lets be honest, as battlefield 1 was out first, this was going to happen no matter what. Not much of a news story lets be honest, the chavs always buy this :P

This doesn't seem very surprising considering it came out last week and BF1 came out 2 weeks before. Its a shame the data is only relative, all we know is that the sales record of BF1 in week 3 is less than COD in week 1. I think everybody who really wanted the game would already have it. So it's most interesting to look at how many gamers bought a game in the first week.

It would be interesting to see the development of tracked games through the lifetime of a game.

It's no surprise, it's rare that sheep stray from the herd.
If it works, it isn't stupid.

Having not looked at any charts for a while I'm actually pretty surprised at how many "older" (contextually) titles are still kicking about. Interesting data to see.

That could be said about any amajor franchise, so not quuite relevant here as it applies to every game down through #7

    Way too much whining.

So a game topped the charts, big deal. Guys, grow up.

I agree, especially Rocket League and GTA IV are quite a surprise.

Also a side note, CoD is doing pretty badly on steam with only a peak of 15k/24h

Heard about that, I can only imagine the Win10 player base will only be a fraction of that too
    Yours sincerely, TG

Yeah, really dumb they seperated the Win10 player base from the Steam player base. I wonder who thought that would've been a good idea :p

No link to the actual article? Also kind of annoying they don't have the numbers in the chart, although they do note some percentages before the chart. Call of Duty being number 1 in it's release week isn't too surprising.

Real shame. Found BF1 way more entertaining when compared to IW that just feels like a simple rehash of the previous games.
